OK, folks, we've got tasking for TV support for Dead and Company concerts at Folsom this July. We need to staff two (2) cameras plus net control each night (Friday 7/13 and Saturday 7/14) from around 3pm to midnight.

The cameras will be run outside the stadium only, so gas masks are not required. 🙂

We prefer to staff this event with folks who already have training and field ATV experience, for example, having worked CU football TV support. Please go to the event page and sign up.

Saturday 9/15 at 1 pm

Friday 9/28 at 5 pm

Saturday 10/6

Saturday 10/27

Saturday 11/10

This is a great opportunity to assist one of our served agencies in their support of public safety, situational awareness as well as an excellent opportunity to enhance your training and experience with providing video coverage for future emergency events.

We welcome folks who don't have field experience with D-ATV. If you can, please attend the D-ATV training on Saturday 8/18 if you haven't attended before.

We need your help, so please find the event(s) and sign up as soon as you can.

We have scheduled a WEBEOC training session for Tuesday evening May 22nd at the EOC.

WEBEOC is a web based application that allows BCARES members to Log-in from wherever they may be to obtain information about an active incident in progress, or to access certain BCARES documentation from the BCARES File Library.

WEBEOC is required training for the Facility Support level of BCARES membership (next level beyond Associate). This level of membership is used to determine your possible deployment to a shelter during an active incident.

BCARES currently has 30 Associate level members that do not yet have this training.

This session is limited to a maximum of 18 students, so if you are interested and available for this session, please click on the date in the calendar and 'Book' yourself into the session. If you have a problem in the booking process please contact Jerry directly. We need to submit a list of names and e-mail addresses prior to the session for the instructor to create a login for each participant.

Jerry (NØOUW)  >  n0ouw@arrl.net  or 303-775-8813 and leave a message....... Thanks

See the event signup, but be aware that the email notices may not be working. Please respond directly to George Weber KAØBSA or Mark Huff KØLRS in that case.

We'll need to field two teams for this year's Bolder Boulder, one at the starting line (30th & Walnut) and one at the finish (CU's Folsom Field), plus the usual folks in the press box as for a football game. So we're looking for 6+ folks that have ATV experience at CU and similar events. Please sign up on the event page.

Starting time is expected to be 6am.
