Application Process


Below you will find links to download a BCARES Application and a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with BCARES. With the recent implementation of the Certification and Credentialing Program both are required, even for current members. We would ask that all members, beginning in January of 2012, have a current application and MOU on file.

If you became a member before 2012, please be sure you have a renewal application on file so we have current information and a signature for the Disclaimer and Waver. Likewise, the MOU outlines the vision, mission, and values we are expected to observe as we perform our missions. New members must submit both documents and be subject to a background check by the Boulder County Sheriff's Department.

The forms are PDF fill-in documents. Please be sure you have the latest free version of Adobe Reader. You will be able to fill out the documents right on your computer. Please save a copy for yourself, print a copy and sign it.

As of (8/6/2018), BCARES will essentially require that the 'Associate Level' training requirements to be completed, and evidence of same, forwarded to the Membership and Training Coordinator, along with the signed Application and MOU documents available below.

The Associate Level requirements are identified in the chart on Page 2 of the Application document. When the complete package, ( Signed App, Signed MOU, and evidence of training completed) is received, you will be contacted by our Membership and Training Coordinator with further instructions and information.
