DIA Fire Training Center
Denver International Airport (DIA) will be having a firefighting exercise at their fire training center, including a (fake) burning aircraft and a mass casualty drill. We will be supporting only the part at the fire training center, and not in the terminal / EOC.
We need 6-8 folks to run up to 3 video stations onWednesday 7/26; it will be a lot like a CU event — and so we ask only those folks to sign up who have worked a CU event with digital video in the last three years. We expect folks to be there at 7am for setup. We don’t think we need anyone for setup on 7/25 … yet.
Please sign up before the end of April if possible. We will then give you a URL to register with DIA as a BCARES volunteer, which needs to happen before mid-May so we can check & finalize the list before the end of May. Note that you will need to provide DIA with some biographical info so they can clear you for access on-site. Because of the security issues, we won’t be able to take late volunteers.
Carpooling is recommended for the folks coming from Boulder, as parking may be tight.
Bookings are closed for this event.
